On June 19, 2020, Willeson purchased a 100% undivided legal and beneficial interest in mining claims comprising the Beaucage, Hatchet, Barrington-Tow, and Hughes properties in the Lynn Lake area of Manitoba (each a "Lynn Lake Property", and collectively, the "Lynn Lake Properties") from Exiro Minerals Corp.
The Lynn Lake Properties are situated within northwestern Manitoba’s Paleoproterozoic Lynn Lake greenstone belt which lies within the Reindeer Zone of the Trans-Hudson Orogen. The belt is a historical base metals mining camp, relatively underexplored for precious metals. Alamos Gold’s mid-tier Lynn Lake development project with Proven & Probable Reserves of 2.06 Moz gold(1) highlights the exploration potential of the belt.
